Will I responsible for the debt?

My husband ask for a divorce. I ask him to pay off some bills before I sign agreement. He try to borrow some money from credit cards. If I remove my name from these credit cards and put that he is responsible for the debt on our agreement. Is this safe for me to do this?

Any idea that my husband can get money from credit cards and I will not responsible after we divorce. Thanks

If your name is on the account at the time the debt is incurred, you will be liable for the debt.
