Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
I got 36 months of probation before judgement for a misdemeanor theft charge, my question is: if I finish my community service and pay all the fine, and don't do anything again law, is there a way to shorten the period of my probation time and can I expunge my case within 3 years. I am looking forward to your answer. Thank you very much.

You may be able to shorten your supervised probation time period by filing a motion to reconsider your sentence (due within 90 days of your sentencing date). But probation before judgment cannot be expunged within 3 years for any reason.
