Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
2nd degree assault
Can probation before judgement apply to my 2nd degree assault charge? If so what must I do? I have a trial on 13 February for domestic violence against my girlfriend during an argument.

Re: 2nd degree assault
Yes, a PBJ is a possible outcome for 2nd degree assault. It would depend on the facts of the case, your prior record if any, and who the judge will be. I would recommend retaining an attorney given the seriousness of the charge.
