Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
I admitted to a theft crime and was terminated
I offered to pay back what I had pocketed, and was told that was not good enough and they are going to press charges for larceny as I was a manager. What do I do? I had plans on moving out of state, is that still possible?

You need to get an attorney ASAP. If you were to be put on probation, there may be restrictions on leaving the state, but an attorney could help you figure all that out and make this as easy as possible for you. I will need more info, however, about the facts of this case and your prior record.
