If already convicted by a trail by court and given 1yr sentence 5 yr suspended. Can the judge impose a greater sentence or make you do the suspended sentence after the appeals trial by jury

Yes, an appeal to the Circuit Court is de novo, meaning it starts all over again. You could be given anything up to the maximum sentence. If you filed a motion to reconsider sentence within 90 days of the district court sentence, that sentence could NOT be increased, and you would see the same judge that sentenced you.
