what are the chances of not serving jail time for a first time, clean record, second degree sex offense charge?

Whether or not you go to jail on a first offense second degree sex charge depends on the circumstances of the offense (was it a light touching or a hard grope), jurisdiction of Court (Baltimore City and County more lienient than Harford or Cecil county), and the skill of the lawyer (Full time Criminal Lawyer, like myself, or a Civil Lawyer that handles some criminal cases). Your chances are excellant for going to jail if you go to Court without any lawyer.
