Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland

Can I be charched?

Police had a search warrant for my husband. They pulled him over, found drugs, then went to our house and found some more. They are trying to charge him with possesion w/ intent to distribute and me with possesion of the pipe and its content(possesion of marijuana, possesion of peraphernalia). I don't smoke, don't do any drugs and took urinanalysis within 24 hours to prove it. Can I still be charged with it?? Search warrant wasn't for me, only for husband. Plus what is the best option possible if being charged? Is there any first time offender programs? I don't have any records. Thank You!

Re: Can I be charched?

There are many options for a first time offender. You should definitely contact a defense lawyer who could help you in court and maybe get the charges dropped all together.

Can I be charged?

The best option in being charged with a drug offense is to contact a criminal lawyer, like myself, who will investigate exactly what evidence the police have, and then prepare a defense to get a not guilty, or a probation before judgment to keepy your record clean.
