Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
Charged with writing a bad check
I have been charged with writing a bad check to Walmart.I have paid the check and I still have to go to court. Walmart sent a letter to the state attorneys office dropping the charges against me. My question is, do you think that I am going to need an attorney to represent me? Could I be facing Jail time. I am not a criminal, I made a mistake in my checking account. I am terrified and feel humiliated. Can you please help me with any information.
Thank you very much.
