Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland

Criminal case/Police Brutality

My boyfriend was beat by the police and it was caught on video by the store in which it took place in front of. Witnesses are also available. The tape will prove that he is innocent as he is accused of assult on an officer and resisting arrest. What are his chances of getting off? Please keep in mind there is more to this story.
