Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland

when you are on probation before judgement in the district court on a cds possesion- charge marijuana and receive 1 year probation before judgement and within that year you plead guilty to cds manufacture/disribute and receive 3 years suspended with 3 years probation becuase of the guilty plea they violate the probation before judgement and bring you back to court and retry you for the charge then you receive 8 months jail time. What will now happen to the 3 years probation did you violate it because you were retried for the same offense or not?

No. You did not violate your probation in the felony case by getting the 8 month sentence on the VOP in the misdemeanor case.
