Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
Criminal Record expungement
I was watching a Judge Mathis episode and he spoke out to individuals who had criminal records. The Judge stated that if your criminal offense occured before you were 25 years old you could have your record expunged/sealed. I fall into this category and would like some more information. Can you help?

Re: Criminal Record expungement
The judge's information offered on this TV show is simply wrong with respect to the expungement of criminal records in the Commonwealth. (The records of felony offenses can never be expunged unless you
can prove that you were wrongfully convicted and have received a pardon from the governor.)
