Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
My daughter posted bail for someone and set up a payment plan. She lost her job and hasn't made the payments. the bail bonds man said he was going to file suit and have a body arrest issued and the police will arrest her. is this a true statement or were they trying to scare her

He can sue
He can get a judgment.
He can not get her locked up unless she somehow disobeys a court order.
His actions are also a violation of the fair debt collections act.
