Domestice Violence

My husband and I got into a fight. I got hurt and went to the doctors and the doctor called the police. I had spoken with the police over the at the hospital and did want to press any charges. The officer still wanted to proceed and wanted to see me. When he came and saw at me at the hospital and had me write down a statement and never explaining my rights or his rights as an officer. He took pictures and after I asked him what was going to happened he said that there will be an arrest made. i asked for my statement back and he refused to give it back. Now my husband is facing 10 years. I felt setup . What can I do to help him in this case?

You can invoke your spousal privilege and refuse to testify against him.
