Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
If you were driving down the road and saw a man running away from someone pointing a gun at them (from 30 feet away) looking like they were about to fire..........What would happen to you if you then steered your car at them and hit them to prevent the "possible" shooting. I say possible, but lets assume that the person driving was sure they (the shooter) was about to kill someone.

If the shooter was a police officer, you would be in a lot of trouble.
