Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
drug charge
my kids father was under investigation. he came to my home on several occasions to see his children. we were not living together at the time but had in the past. they issued a warrant for my home. when they searched they did find drugs not to mention in my property. i went to court pleaded not guilty and a jury found me guilty of a felony. im going for reconsideration soon. this felony has affected me tremendously. i cant find a good job or go to school because iu cant recieve financial aid. my 2 questions are what's the best way for me to prepare. what should i ask for pbj or to have it dropped to a misdermeanor possession?? 2nd question is there any way for me to qualify for any type of aid so i can go back to school???

On a reconsideration, the only thing the judge can do is lower your SENTENCE. You should consult an attorney with more details if you have more questions.
