Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
Drug Possession & Drug Paraphernalia
What could be the penalties for 3 counts of marijuana drug possession and 3 counts of drug paraphernalia. I was pulled over near Frederick, MD, for not using my turn signal. Could I lose my license in the state of Pennsylvania for this?

Re: Drug Possession & Drug Paraphernalia
You probably cannot use your drivers' license in PA, but the maximum penalties for a first offender could be 1 year in prison on each marihuana count and a $500 fine on each paraphernalia count. Depending on your record, the amount could be higher.
You should consult with an attorney to determine if you can beat this case, and if not, if you would actually serve any of this sentence.
