Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland

Please Help

I am facing 40 years and 50,000.00 fine for stealing 2546.46 from a job that i worked at. I have 3 charges. theft over 500.00 theft scheme over 500.00 and Obtain goods money forgery. I am so scared. I have never been in trouble before. Any advice would be appreciated and is there any way that I am actually gonna spend 40 years in jail

With no prior record, it is unlikely you would serve the maximum sentences. However, these are very serious charges and I would highly recommend that you consult with an experienced criminal attorney as soon as possible.

You should be talking to no one other than a lawyer at this time. Do not admit the crime. Talk to a criminal trial lawyer, like myself, before you do anything else in your case. If you cannot afford a lawyer, get a public defender. Do it now.
