Felony dismisal
A friend of mine had a date set for a felony dismisal trial and when I spoke with his public defender he stated there wasnt going to be one and the case is moved to Circuit Court.. What does this mean?? Whats going to happen??

The felony dismissal date just means that the prosecutor dismisses the district court case number on the record. Its procedural and your friend does not have to appear.
The case, therefore, will be handled in the Circuit Court under a new case number.
