Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
Fraud going unpunished!
I filed for child support in June 07 in VA,but my childs father lives in Baltimore,MD.They scheduled a DNA test and my childs father called me saying the test he took said my daughter wasnt his.i got the results a week later saying the same. I went up to the child support office and the picture they take at lab corp was of someone else who used a fake ID saying they were him.when child support requested a valid id from MD,the picture was of his younger brother!i gave child support(both md and va)the conversation where he blatantly admitted to the crimes. They even scheduled a retest May 15th that he didnt show to.and told me the day before he wasnt going to go.i had to come though, and there i identified the ID of his younger brother, and the person who took the test for him (a dark skinned friend who looks nothing like him-hes spanish)MD child support said if he didnt show for the retest they would file an affadavit for fraud,i submitted my affadavit of statements but now they are saying pretty much nothing they can do,except open a new case, which in more or less words would mean my case would be lost amongst everything.it took me a year just to get here.what steps can i take to get this prosecuted and my daughter her c/s order?

Re: Fraud going unpunished!
You should be working through DCSE(Division of Child Support Enforcement)in Virginia in order to properly follow through on this matter with the Maryland child support enforcement authorities.
(Your question gives no indication that in fact you are doing so.)
