Re: General questions for an criminal/civil attorney

Your question is refreshing. Most are interested only in advice to solve an immediate problem.

Being limited to 3000 words on this service, here is an answer:

1. A lifelong ambition and quest for justice, equality, reason and truth is what attracted me to become an attorney.

2. To become an attorney you must have a Bachelor's Degree (in any discipline), gain acceptance through a comptetive process at a law school, graduate, and pass the bar.

3. Variety and helping people. Being able to be a master of my own pursuit.

4. Variety is sometimes a detractor as well as accepting engagements to help people that sometimes are unable to help themselves and are prone to not learn from their experiences.

5. Decisions that influence me....hmmm, whom do you mean? Clients make decisions that are often beyond influence as well as do judges, masters, adminstrative hearing officers, etc. I strive to address the better needs of my client's in all matters. Ultimately, the well reasoned thought is what influences me whether or not such is accepted.

6. Postive aspects are helping people. Negative aspects are not being able to solve all problems. I strive to accomplish each client's objectives and where exceptions exist I do not represent or advocate.

7. I expect to continue to be happy, prosperous and content.

Good questions! It is my opinion that you have to like helping people to be an attorney. If you aspire to become an attorney, feel free to call me to discuss.
