i received a summons for harrassing a neighbor. should i obtain a lawyer.

You have been charged with a criminal offense that carries a maximum penalty of 90 days in jail and a $500 fine, and perhaps worse, the possibility that a criminal record would follow you for the rest of your life. You should get a lawyer who knows this statute, the judges and prosecutors in your county, and how to go into court and get you the best disposition possible.
