Hit and run accident
What is the penalty if you accidentiallly
hit a person's fender and did not realize it until someone notified you.
Then, I turned myself in to the police and gave them my insurance information. My court date is in one week. What might the consequences be?

The maximum penalties for this charge are 60 days in jail, a $500 fine, 12 points on your license, revocation of your license, and any restitution damages.
Whether or not you get any of these penalties depends on many factors.
