Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
illegal drug search?
I was questioned about a robbery that occured next door and the police said I had answered the door with a marijauna pipe in my hand. They also claimed that the house smelled like pot. I had no pipe in my hand and the house had no smell. A number of people got busted this last week and gave names. I belive that the police manufactured this info just to search the house. Do i have any legal standing? How do i dispute the cops false claims?

Do not try to dispute a charge by the police yourself. Let a lawyer do it. By doing it yourself, you might give the police more information to use against you then they already have.
