Can a lawsuit be brought from false accusations?
Can a lawsuit be brought against someone for false accusation if a police report does not have enough info to charge/committ a person to a crime?

A lawsuit cannot be brought against the State where a credible criminal claim lies. However, the state may violate civil liberty law.
An action that was brought in false light is actionable civilly. Proving damages is usually the difficult part of the equation.
