Lee Boyd Malvo � Multiple convictions in multiple states
If Lee Boyd Malvo is given separate life sentences in multiple states for different sniper murders, how is it determined which state he will serve his sentence?
If two of these states offer convictions with varying sentences, does the most severe take precedence?

Each sentence will run consequetively unless prohibited by the Eight Amendment or the test that applies to duplicitous sentencing.
The State that first sentenced him will retain physical custody until such time that the sentence is served and at which point another state may take custody of him.
Exceptions may apply.
