Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
Legal age Males can leave home in state of Mayland
I am curious to know how old a male must be when he leaves home. I thought it was 18 but my husband says it is 21 for males and 18 for females.

The age of majority in Maryland is 18, not 21. The sex of the child does not matter. But emancipation could happen earlier in certain instances, such as in cases of parental abuse.
