What does it mean when the defendant has a felony dismissal date

It likely means that a preliminary hearing has been held to d�termine if probable cause exists to hold a defendant, and that probable cause was found. The State has 30 days to get an indictment or dismiss the felonies.Then, if there is no indictment, a bond review may get the defendant released.
