Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland

Owner of a pharmacy charged with a crime

A friend who is a pharmacist worked for a pharmacy that was owned by 2 pharmacist and a nurse. The owners(also pharmacist) started doing internet pharmacy. When my friend and other pharmacist questiond if this was legal, they were assured by the owners that this was and that they had gotten aproval from the board of pharmacy. They lied, the pharmacy was raided by the dea 10 months after my friend quit and all the pharmacist that worked there have been subpoena to testify against the owners at a grand jury. They all agreed. Can they be charged with a crime also? Or are they okay because they worked for a company and the owners lied to them?

Each person who has received a subpoena to testify before the grand jury should seek the advice of criminal defense counsel before testifying.
