PBJ Ending and Expundgement
Our son's PBJ on 2nd degree burglery will end in 1 week. Will he receive notification in the mail? Should he call his probation officer on the last day? Since it is a PBJ, how long before he can seek expundgement?

Re: PBJ Ending and Expundgement
Unless your son was on supervised probation, there won't be any notice of the closing date of his probation. PBJ refers to the end results once the probationary period expires and he is no longer in danger of losing the PBJ. He can proceed with the expungement the day after the probation expired, but don't wait or expect the state or the court to take part in any of this, they are too overburdened with new cases. Perhaps your son's attorney on the record could help clarify. For further assistance, call me, Joe Trevino, 1-800-924-6217.
