Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
Perjury: who is the victim?
Assume that in sworn testimony, person A committed perjury which damaged the interests of person B in some material way. Do I have to file a complaint or do I even have a right to file a complaint about this as it may be only a crime against the ''state''?

Re: Perjury: who is the victim?
The basis of your question lies in the answer to "How was the right(s) of some person damaged is some way?"
If conspiracy is involved then another matter exists.
