Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
If a person has a refugee or aslym status in the US is convicted of criminal possesson of stolen property 3rd degree felony class D, can they be deported?

Refugee/asylum status is a PRIVILEGE and not a right. As such, you can absolutely compromise your status by engaging in criminal activity in this country. I STRONGLY recommend that you hire a criminal defense attorney with experience in immigration issues to assist you.
