Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
probation violation
My husband violated his probation. I do not know all the details because this was before we met. According to him, his probation time is over. What will happen in court, when he is returned to Maryland to face the charge? To my knowledge, he has no other offenses in Maryland since that time.

Re: probation violation
A probation violation will likely end your husband back in court. At the hearing the probation agent must show that he violated. If it is proven (NOT beyond a reasonable doubt), then your husband could face any or all of the suspended sentence that he recieved.
Good luck
