Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
The Process
I was recently told I by an officer that I would be charged with a crime, however its days later and nothing has happened. Is this normal? What should be happening? Thank you.

Re: The Process
It can take some time. The State's attorney may be reviewing charges, or they may have issued a criminal summons that you haven't received. You should contact a criminal defense lawyer who may be able to find out for you, and get working on the case.
