Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland

How willing are prosecutors to accept plea bargains?

Earlier this week i was arrested and charged with two counts of felony theft. I had admitted to the college i attend guilt for stealing 2 computers of which 1 was recovered and the other was returned but never recovered. I was suspended from the school and will be fined for restitution for the two computers. However, my admission of guilt was also made to the police because I thought that being truthful is the best route . I understand that my case is pretty much open and shut. My parents are trying to find a good Frederick or Maryland lawyer . I am willing to accept a harsh probation before judgement sentence or any type of probation, community service, treatment. I am a 19 year old college student with no prior criminal history besides 1 speeding ticket. What do you think my chances are for a good plea bargain (i'll plead guilty to both counts if I can have probation and no jail time)

Once that is resolve, there are a number of things a good criminal lawyer can do to achieve your goal.
