Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland

help me please

he didnt search our apt and we didnt sign any papers he said he would conact us for us to rat on some body. we dont have to do that do we,its not like we no anybody. like i said he said he could put charges on us because the dude told him bogus stuff to get himself off of his charges,like murder.do you think we should take it to court or do what he say's.
