Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
signiture forgery
I would like to know, If a wife signs the husbands name on an legal document,without permission would this be considered a criminal crime? If this is an crime would it be a felony or an misdomeanor?

I assume you and your husband are still living in harmony with no conflicts or any potential litigation relative to your marital rights. If so, no problem. But if the check's over $300 and it was someone other than your husband, or you and your husband have broken relations, then it could be a felony, depends who the accuser will be. Generally, a spouse can not be guilty of stealing from the other,assuming everything is peaceful. The check is considered joint property.
