stet document
I had a peace order which was violated. Defendant was found guilty, case was put on stet doc. for 3 years, expires on 9-25-05. He violated it again, have crimanl charges pending for same acts. Can he be charged with violating the stet?

When a charge is placed on the stet docket, the accuser remains at risk for possible prosecution on that charge until the requirements under the stet are satisfied. LaFaivre v. State 338 Md. 151, 158 (1995).
If the defendant failed to satisfy the requirements of the stet by violating the peace order again, he may be prosecuted for the original peace order violation (the stetted charge), as well as the latest violation.
