Three Strikes Your Out
What year did the Three Strike Your Out law take effect? For example if someone did two criminal act 16 years ago, would the 3 strike rule apply if they commit another crime.

Maryland has no "three strikes and you are out" law. This applies for acts committed under the law of other states.
Maryland has sentencing guidelines and applies a matrix system. Criminal Procedure Section 6-216 sets upper and lower sentencing requirements. . If you need an attorney, contact me at (410) 799-9002.
