Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland

Support letter, laywyer uncooperative

My fiancee's family, friends and i would like to send letters to the judge to show support for him. He just received his parol papers plus he is going up for sentence modification. During trial the judge was trying to give his lawyer hints as to the areas he needed to focus on but the lawyer ignored them. We believe letters will help but his attorney said they were a waste of his time to go through letters from whinning family members. How can we send letters with out attny involvement?

You can send the letters directly to the judge. They get put in the court file.
