Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
Suspended License
I was charged with driving on a suspended license and registration about a year ago. The suspended license stems from a speeding ticket I got a year prior in Indiana and forgot to pay, and my suspended registration stems from forgetting to get my emissions done. I have since payed the ticket and taken care of the suspensions. What should I say to the judge?

Re: Suspended License
Assuming you are a first offender, you should tell the judge what happened, and ask for probation before judgment. If you are not a first offender, call a criminal defense lawyer immediately. In maryland, you can go to jail for 60 days for a case like this.
