Testify in a criminal case
What to do when you are subpoena to testify against a family member, and you do not want any dealings with the court case.

Unless the defendant in the criminal case is your husband or wife, if you are subpoenaed, you must appear and give testimony. Otherwise you may be cited for contempt and could be subject for arrest and prosecution yourself.

Talk to a criminal lawyer, like myself, as to your rights when called to testify. For example, your tesitmony my incriminate you, so you can delcine to answer the question on those grounds.
