Do I have to testify?
My husband is going to court for criminal charges. If I am supenaed do I have to testify against him if I don't want to?

In general, no. Maryland recognizes a spousal privilege such that you cannot be compelled to testify against him regarding incidents that occurred during the marriage. There are some limitations, an example of which are in domestic violence cases where the spouse is the alleged victim, the privilege can only be used once.
