Theft
The penalty for theft over the value of $500.00 is 15 years in jail. If you are going to represent yourself on these serious criminal charges, bring a tootbrush.

Re: Theft
This depends on many factors, like whether the charges are part of the same event, what county you are in, what judge, what prosecutor, and your prior criminal record. The maximums for these crimes are 15 years / $25,000 fine each, as I'm sure you know.
You should seriously consider hiring an experienced criminal defense attorney before going to court to minimize your exposure.
