Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
Theft over $500
I was indicted on 4 counts of theft over $500 from a former employer back in 2004. The indictment was presented to me on 8/2008. Is this within the staute of limitations?

There is no statute of limitations on a felony. However, there might be a speedy trial issue. Consult with a criminal lawyer.
