Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
Theft in Another Persons Apartment
I was a long term guest in someones home, and as a result I had some items stolen from me. What can I do? The lease holders on the apartment did not have renters insurance so my stuff will not be covered even though it was a condition in their lease. I have reason to believe that one of the leaseholders or their guests may have taken the items. All items taken value up to $2,775.00. What would be the best course of action?

You should go to the Commissioner and file charges.
