Possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, you are looking at twenty years under the statute. As a first time offender your sentence can be plead down. It all depends on a number of circumstances including past criminal history, etc.

The maximum penalty is 20 years, but there are a lot of factors to consider. Since the burden of proof is on the State, talk to a criminal lawyer, like myself, to determine if there is a foundation for a conviction. A not guilty means you walk.
