Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland

turning myself into jail in another state

I was released from jail because someone posted bail. I also have a warrent out for my arrest in another state (PA) What would happen if I was told I had 72 hours to turn myself into the jail in the other state and didnt. But, do plan to turn myself in at the end of the month. Will there then be another warrent out for my arrest in Maryland? Basically, I have warrent out in two states, PA and MD.

Re: turning myself into jail in another state

You are charged for separate offenses. Each charge needs to be addressed. You need an attorney.

You should appear before court and face the charges. You understand that this will be more difficult should you be arrested under warrant. Any time limits that you impose with addressing your legal issues may work against you.

Contact a criminal attorney to represent you with each charge.
