There are a number of possibilities. The Judge will first ask whether or not you "admit" the violation or not. If you admit that you were in violation, the judge could strike the PBJ, enter a conviction, and close the case out. The judge could also give you jail or the judge could extend your probation. The outcome often depends on your judge, the prosecutor, the nature of the violation, and what the probation agent recommends.

IF you do not agree, however, that you violated your probation, you may have a hearing and contest the violation. You can call witnesses, testify on your own behalf, and cross-examine the probation agent. The judge would have to find by a preponderance of evidence that you violated.

I strongly recommend appearing with an attorney.
