Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland

My wife and I had a argument back in July 2010...she wanted for us to live apart and I didnt so she filed a 10 day protective order...affer a couple days she said she needed help with our daughter and chores and Marissa's school and schedule...I told her cant cause.of protective order...ahe said she didnt extend it...told my 83 yrold mom.,,,and my sister who is very close to her she didnt extend it...I went back and lived with her end of July...a week ago she got angry over something stupid and got loud and someone called the police...during the questioing he called our names into to check for warrants I guess...thdy informed him that there was a active protective order on me and locked me up in front of my crying 3 yr old little girl ...eventhe cops said the law was wrong...if the person invites you back to live there like me...lived there 4-5 months...the order should be null and void...should be cancelled...also ...what about her...she also viola4ed the order.......I went to jail and they denied bail...said I threatened her in the argument...I have never touched her and have no FTA'S...thats B.S....murderers get bail....had to spend three days in jail and almost lost my job....at the bail review my wife sd she is not afraid or threatend by me ..ask the states attorney to drop it...sd she not testifying...he sd no...said its in our hands nowand we will prosecute case....THIS IS BS
