I'm due to testify in a court case against a freind and I want o plead the 5ht amendment so i don't say anything that would incrimidate her. if I do plead the 5th can the judge put me in jail for pleasding the 5th???

Your 5th Amendment rights extend to self-incrimination only, not to that of others. You may be compelled to testify and may be held in contempt if you refuse.
